Butter Cake

Ingredients

  • Sugar 1 cup
  • Butter 1/2 cup
  • Egg 2
  • Vanilla extract 1 tspn
  • All purpose flour
  • 11/2 cup Baking
  • Soda 2 tspn
  • Salt 1/2 tspn
  • Milk 3/4 cup

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350 degree F.

Put paper liners (or Grease) to 12 cup-cake pans or a 9-inch cake pan.

Cream butter and sugar together till fluffy; beat in egg and mix well.

Mix in Vanilla extract. Mix together flour, salt and baking soda.

Mix in the dry ingredients to the wet mixture.

Add milk and mix well. Pour the batter into prepared pans and bake in 350 deg F oven for about 30 minutes for cup cakes and 45 minutes for 9-inch cake.

Cake is done when a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
